Research ‘accelerator’ projects tackle food security early action in drylands

In April 2024 we called for proposals to carry out short-term ‘actionable’ research on food security early action in pastoral areas of East Africa.

In October, the three selected projects started work, with reesults delivered in late 2025.

Proposals were asked to align with our challenge agenda and clearly set out the problems they will address, the outcomes and outputs we can expect and pathways to impact.
