We collaborate to advance knowledge and learning, advocate for drylands, catalyze positive change and drive policies, investments and outcomes that meet the aspirations of communities in Africa’s drylands
The Observatory is an emerging initiative by a group of organizations to mobilize a multi-stakeholder and diverse set of people, communities and organizations with the skills, know-how, resources and connections to drive inclusive policies and practices for resilient and prosperous drylands.
Inspired by earlier work of the Jameel Observatory for Food Security Early Action and partners, we are refining our focus and set-up, seeking to advance the resilience and prosperity of dryland communities in the Horn of Africa and beyond.
